hey stranger!

sorry, i know it's been months :/

i've been up to my chin in school work. plus, trying to finish college applications that i havent really sent out yet eitherrr... sooo much to dooo :( people werent kidding when they said that senior year was gonna be hectic. i didnt want to believe it but here i am :/ AND i've got my SAT's to take care of Saturday morning too... bummer :(

makeup-wise.. i've been laying off the make up actually. my boyfriend says that he likes the me without the makeup so i thought i should give it a try for him. plus, i had an acne problem at that time tooo :( so, i guess it'll be beneficial for both parties lol the funny thing about my acne situation is that it occurred once i stopped using my foundation. crazy right? initially i was using maybelline's dream smooth mousse foundation (which i LOVE), my skin was peachy. then, boyfriend came, said "no makeup", off with the makeup and then 50 pimples. -_- okay, a bit of an exaggeration but you get the point.

the thing about me and my skin is that i usually am never able to confidently stray away from my foundation and makeup routine. my skin has always been covered in scars, pimples and just uneven skintone in general. even if my skin cleared up from the pimples, i'd still wear my foundations. then, when they popped back up, i'd yell at myself saying "if i had clear skin, i wouldnt wear foundation" just my luck :/

soooo, my boyfriend put me on Palmer's cocoa butter for my face. i was skeptical at first, im not gonna lie. it seemed too thick and oily for my already oily/combo skin but i figured with the cold weather coming up, it might work out...

who knows? :/

a new do

i thought about you guys today :)

so, last night, i was playing around with my hair and i realized that my side swept bangs are too long to actually be considered bangs anymore. i sat for a couple minutes trying to figure out a new look but i couldn't. i noticed my scissors not too far away, and an idea popped into my head "i think i'll cut my bangs!" and so, that's how that story goes. i chopped up my hair! i no longer have my signature side swept bangs, i basically have full face bangs, but they aren't thick. they're just very wispy cause i didn't want to go all out on something im just not sure of.

i like it, it's okay. it's just something new for me. i initially was hesitant because my face shape is more round, and you know how they say straight face bangs actually accentuate the roundness. i went with it anyway since i'm still young, i figured i could find a way to work it (and my hair grows really fast). the only downfall is that now, my gray hairs are more visible. lol. i'm only 16 but my gray hairs make me look like im 40, it's really sad. :( oh well!

Gooood Morning, Bloggers :)

geees, its been such a LONG time since my last entry.
welll, im back :)

i'll jump into a quick update of my life since it's been so long:

second semester of junior year has begun & it's already kicking my butt

it's been snowing like crazy here on the east coast, there's been blizzards left and right

snow means no schoool! ;)

the last guy i liked screwed me over, & the last guy who screwed me over is back in my life?...

i'm still on my weight loss mission

i'm thinking about volleyball in the fall...maybe

i have 7 piercings & i'm still not satisfied lol

i'lll be seventeeen soooon!

i think that's enough of an update for now.
it's monday morning, i'm at home because of the snowpocalypse this past weekend. we got about 30", shoveling is definitely a pain. my body is still sore from shoveling on saturday, actually.
i'm hoping we won't have soon tomorrow either cause i haven't done any of my psychology homework.
i'm planning on a run later on this evening. let me tell yall about my workout schedule.
monday, wednesday & friday - 30 min. jog/sprint session + weight lifting
tuesday & thursday - 30 min. walk on incline + abs
yeah, so my days consists on school, food, homework, and working out.
sounds like fun, huh? :/
